نَحَمَ, said of a horse, seems to be best rendered He breathed pantingly, or hard, with a sound from the chest. See 1 in art. ضبح.


نَحِيمٌ

نَحِيمٌ signifies A sound (صَوْت) from the chest of the horse. (TA.)
