نَدِمَ عَلَى مَا فَعَلَ He grieved for what he had done; regretted it; repented of it: or he disliked it. (Mṣb.)


نَدِيمٌ

نَدِيمٌ A companion in drinking; a cup-companion. (Ṣ, Mṣb, Ḳ.) And hence, Any convivial companion; a boon-companion.


مَنْدَمٌ

مَنْدَمٌ Repentance: an inf. n. of نَدِمَ; see an ex. in a verse of El-Kattál El-Kilábee, cited voce أَىٌّ.
