نَيْسَانُ

نَيْسَانُ [vulg. نِيسَان] The seventh of the Greek [or Syrian] months; (Ḳ;) [corresponding to April, O. Ṣ.] It is [said to be] a property of the water of its rain, that dough kneaded with it ferments without other treatment. (TA.)
