جِبْسٌ

جِبْسٌ [Gypsum;] i. q. جِصٌّ, or جَصٌّ, (Ḳ,) with which one builds. (Kr, TA.*)


جَبَّاسَةٌ

جَبَّاسَةٌ The place of جِبْس; [i. e., in which gypsum is found, or prepared;] as also مجبَّسة [i. e.مُجَبَّسَةٌ↓, or, more probably, it is a mistranscription, forمَجْبَسَةٌ↓, like مَحْصَاةٌ (originally مَحَصَيَةٌ) and مَبْقَلَةٌ, &c.]. (TA.)
