جِيلٌ A nation, people, race, tribe, or family of mankind; (Ṣ, Mṣb, Ḳ;) such as the Turks, and the Greeks, (Ṣ. TA,) and the Chinese: (TA:) pl. أَجْيَالٌ (M, Mṣb, TA) and جِيلَانٌ. (M, TA.)
