مَيْبَةٌ

مَيْبَةٌ A certain remedy, or medicine: (Ḳ:) [an arabicized word] from the Persian مَىْ “a beverage,” and بِهْ “a quince:” quince-beverage; diacydonium; a medicine prepared of the juice of quinces: some of it is raw; and some, not raw: some is perfumed; and some, not perfumed.
