مغص مغنطس مقأ


مَغْنَطِيسٌ

مَغْنَطِيسٌ, (Ṣ, Ḳ,) or مَغْنِيطِسٌ, (as in some copies of the Ḳ and in the TA,) and مَغْنِيطِيسٌ (CK) and مَغْنَاطِيسٌ (Ḳ) [The magnet;] a certain stone that attracts iron: arabicized [from the Greek μαγνῆτις]. (Ṣ, Ḳ.) [Mentioned in Ṣ, L, Ḳ, in art. غطس; but, as observed in the TA, it should have a separate place.]
