شِرْذِمَةٌ

شِرْذِمَةٌ A party, or company, (طَائِفَةٌ,) of men, or people: (Ṣ:) or a small company: (TA:) or a small number of men, or people: (Ḳ:) and so شِرْدِمَةٌ, with the unpointed د, on the authority of AA: (IB, TA:) the former occurring in the Ḳur xxvi. 54. (TA.)
