هَمْرَجَ عَلَيْهِ الخَبَرَ, (inf. n. هَمْرَجَةٌ, L, Ḳ,) He rendered the news, tidings, or information, confused to him. (Ṣ, L, Ḳ.*)


هَمْرَجَةٌ

هَمْرَجَةٌ Confusion; (Ḳ, L;) as also هَمْرَجٌ, andهَمَرَّجٌ↓, and هَمَرَّجَةٌ: ex. of the last وَقَعَ القَوْمُ فِى هَمَرَّجَةٍ The people fell into a state of confusion: (L:) and the third (L) and fourth (TA) signify also civil war, or conflict and faction, or discord, or dissension; syn. فِتْنَةٌ. (L, TA.)
