صلم صلهب صلو

اِصْلَهَبَّتِ الأَشْيَآءُ i. q. اِمْتَدَّتْ عَلَى جِهَتِهَا [The things extended in their proper direction]. (Ḳ. [In the O, اِشْتَدَّتْ is put in the place of امتدّت. Compare اِسْلَهَبَّ.])


صَلْهَبٌ

صَلْهَبٌ A tall man; (Aṣ, IJ, O, Ḳ;) and so سَلْهَبٌ [q. v.]; (IJ, TA;) as alsoمُصْلَهِبٌّ↓ orمُصَلْهَبٌ↓. (Ḳ accord. to different copies.)

And A strong camel; (Ḳ;) and soصَلَهْبًى↓, (El-Umawee, Ṣ, Ḳ,) in which the final letter is [not a sign of the fem. gender but] to render the word quasi-coordinate to the quadriliteral-radical class; (Ṣ;) fem. صَلْهَبَةٌ (TA) andصَلَهْبَاةٌ↓: (Ṣ, Ḳ:) pl. صَلَاهِبُ. (AA, O, TA.)
