تَمُّوزُ

تَمُّوزُ [sometimes written تَمُوزُ, without teshdeed,] The [Syrian] month [sacred, in ancient times, to the god of that name, (mentioned in Ezek. viii. 14,) corresponding to July, O. Ṣ.,] after حَزِيرانُ. (Ṣ in art. حزر.)
