غطل غطم غطمط


غِطَمٌّ

غِطَمٌّ A great sea, (Ṣ, Ḳ, TA,) abundant in water; (Ṣ, TA;) andغِطْيَمٌّ↓, (Ḳ, TA,) like قِرْشَبُّ, (TA,) [in the CK غَطِيْم,] signifies the same; as alsoغَطَمْطَمٌ↓: (Ḳ, TA:) one says بَحْرٌ غِطَمٌّ. (Ṣ.)

And † A man large (Ṣ, Ḳ) in disposition (Ṣ) or dispositions; (Ḳ;) [i. e.] liberal, or bountiful: (TA:) one says رَجُلٌ غِطَمٌّ. (Ṣ.)
